Sec. 201, Pg. 72, Lines 8-14 – Government is creating an HC Exchange to bring private plans under government control.

 So what can we expect from this little gem?  The end of private health care.  I point out GOVERNMENT CONTROL!..... this bill is a travesty and if it is allowed to go through congress and is signed into law we the people are screwed.....

These next sections infuriate me to the point of seeing RED!!!!! It makes me want to grab any weapon at hand and track down the bastards in congress and vacate their seats.... permanently!

Sec. 203, Pg. 84 – Government mandates ALL benefit packages for private Health Care plans in the exchange.

Sec. 203, Pg. 85, Line 7 – Specifications of benefit levels for plans means that the government will define your HC plan and has the ability to ration your health care!

Sec. 205, Pg. 95, Lines 8-18 – The government will use groups (Read ACORN & AmeriCorps) to “inform and educate” (sign up) individuals for government plan.

Freedom of choice MY ASS!!!!!!!

Sec. 205, Pg. 102, Lines 12-18 – Medicaid-eligible individuals will be automatically enrolled in Medicaid. No freedom to choose.

Sec. 223, Pg. 124, Lines 24-25 – No company can sue the government for price-fixing. No “administrative of judicial review” against a government monopoly.

Sooooo what exactly does this mean?  Its an end run around monopoly laws and (your going to get sick of this phrase)  POWER GRAB!!!!!!!!!

The founders of our nation must be rolling in their graves.....  This country was built on INDIVIDUAL LIBERTY.  INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBILITY! And PERSONAL FREEDOM!  MY GOD WHO DO THESE PEOPLE THINK THEY ARE!

Sec. 225, Pg. 127, Lines 1-16 – Doctors – the government will tell YOU what you can make. “The Secretary shall provide for the annual participation of physicians under the public health insurance option, for which payment may be made for services furnished during the year.”

Yeah.... really good choice there!

Notice what page we are on now please...... pg 127   So far this bill has done nothing to control costs and EVERYTHING to TAKE OVER health care and give POWER to people who do not deserve it!

Sec. 142, Pg. 42 – The Health Choices Commissioner will choose your benefits for you. You have no choice!

GEEEEE I really want some appointed government fat cat telling me that I cant have an operation or medication because its not cost effective.

This next item should really rise you hackles.... It make me damn angry that this would be included in any way.

Sec. 152, Pg. 50-51 – Health Care will be provided to ALL NON-US citizens.

yup welcome to America.... non US citizens (I read ILLEGAL IMMAGRANTS) take a number and get free healthcare...


Sec. 163, Pg. 58-59 beginning at line 5 – Government will have real-time access to individual’s finances & a National ID health care card will be issued!

Sec. 163, Pg. 59, Lines 21-24 – Government will have direct access to your bank accounts for electronic funds transfer.

Now these two ought to scare the hell out of you..... what right does congress or the US government have to access to my finances?  NONE!!!!!  What right do they have to take money out of my account?  NONE!!!!!

In what way does any of this help reduce health care?  NONE!!!  WHAT IT DOES DO IS GIVE GOVERNMENT CONTROL OVER YOUR DAILY LIVES!!!!!!

Now this is one that really tickles me to death........

Sec. 164, Pg. 65 is a payoff subsidized plan for retirees and their families in unions & community organizations.

Well I did some research on this and found that I am not the only one trying to make heads or tails of this thing.  And what I have found is not just scary...... its worse than that.... much worse.  In fact Orwell would not dream up something like this in his worst nightmares.

Don't believe me?  I dare you to read it..... I dare you to become informed from the source... not the idiot box..... I dare you to actually think for yourself for once instead of letting some talking head or puffed up propagandist think for you.   Most people wont take me up on it because its to much like work.  it will cut into their free time and they think that what they are told by the mass media is the truth.  Well little sheep.... when the government comes around to fleece you Don't say no one told you.  Don't say that you were not warned.

Page 16: States that if you have insurance at the time of the bill becoming law and change, you will be required to take a similar plan. If that is not available, you will be required to take the gov option!
So much for keeping your health insurance that you have now.

Page 29: Admission: your health care will be rationed!
Also known as an ANNUAL LIMITATION...... you are only allowed SO MUCH health care........

Well Its been a while (2 years?!?!) since I posted anything here.... My life has been busy and real life takes precedence over on-line time.
Lets see...... things that have happened to me....
My Dad passed away after loosing his fight with cancer.....
My brother is still a greedy ass.......
My sister got a promotion and a huge raise......
My wife is now working in DC for almost as much money as I make.....
My adopted son bombed out of college and is now living at home..... and working at a burger joint.....
I'm still working (thank god) although how long that will last is anyone's guess with Mr. Hopey Changey in office.
I am currently looking to relocate down to the Virginia DC area.....
I am getting the town house ready to sell...(like that will happen in this economy)
I'm still optimistic about life (ya right).....
I am currently playing in an MMORPG called Vanguard.
Beta testing some new software.
and the list goes on......

I hope to be able to update this more often now that I have found it again... Getting old is such a Pain in the butt.

I hope to talk to all the folks who are still my friends in LJ soon.

MELBOURNE, April 18, 2007 (LifeSiteNews.com) - A man's vision has been restored by a corneal patch grown from adult stem cells by a team at the University of Melbourne's Centre for Eye Research Australia (CERA) and the Bernard O'Brien Institute of Microsurgery (BOBIM).

The patch, which replicates the cornea, was cultivated from a single stem cell from a donor eye and was transplanted to the surface of the man's eyes.

The research team was led by Dr Mark Daniell (CERA) and Dr Erik Thompson (BOBIM).

The process, known as a limbal stem cell transplant, is thought to be the first of its kind in Australia. The Melbourne success significantly advances international research in limbal stem cell transplantation in the eyes.

The patient had severe vision loss caused by stem cell failure on the surface of the eye, causing scarring and a vascularised and opaque appearance.

"He had reduced mobility, could not read and could not work, but he has now resumed duties as an accountant, enjoys sight (slightly lower than normal 20/20 acuity) and has increased mobility and quality of life and renewed optimism," Dr Daniell reports.

He says the surface of the man's eyes was removed and the patch (about 50mm long and a micron thick) was applied and is healing well. "This technique can now assist people with alkaline burns who have damage to the surface of their eyes."

Dr Daniell and his team are now working toward developing a totally bio-engineered cornea, using a stem cell extracted from elsewhere on a person's body other than the eye.
